NDIS support
Allied Health
OT, physio, speech and other therapy.
What this category covers
Allied Health covers professional therapy services - occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, psychology, dietetics, and similar disciplines. Sessions usually involve assessment, goal-setting and ongoing treatment.
Allied Health practitioners are AHPRA-registered for their profession. NDIS registration is a separate requirement and depends on the participant's plan-management type.
Plan management
Funded under Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living. NDIA-managed participants need an NDIS-registered Allied Health provider; plan-managed and self-managed can choose more flexibly.

Frequently asked
▸Can I see a therapist at a clinic, or only at home?
Both. Many Allied Health providers offer in-clinic, in-home, community and telehealth options. Use the delivery-mode filter on the provider search to narrow down.
