OpenWay considers your plan management type (NDIA-managed, plan-managed, self-managed), the categories funded in your plan, your location, the provider's services, the provider's availability, and their NDIS Commission registration status. Hard filters apply before any ranking boost. Priority placement never overrides safety, registration, plan compatibility, location, availability or service fit.
Yes. OpenWay is free for NDIS participants, families and support coordinators. Providers pay a subscription to list. OpenWay does not take a commission on services delivered and does not charge participant NDIS plans.
Yes. Both NDIS-registered and unregistered providers can list on OpenWay. NDIA-managed plans generally need registered providers for most supports; plan-managed and self-managed participants can use either. OpenWay always shows the registration status on every provider profile.
Providers are encouraged to respond within 1 to 2 business days. Profiles show each provider's typical response time, and providers with consistent fast responses earn a Fast Responder badge - it's data-driven, not a promise.
